Neena Moist-eyed During Masabas Engagement

It’s a very emotional moment for a mother when her daughter is about to be married. And Neena Gupta felt a range of emotions when daughter, designer Masaba, exchanged rings with her beau, producer Madhu Mantena at Asilo, Lower Parel, Mumbai, last night.

Neena looked happy when Masaba, dressed in a Shivan and Narresh outfit, slipped the ring into Madhus finger, and he did the same to her. The couple kissed to seal the ‘deal.

In an emotional speech, Neena expressed just how much she loved Masaba and what her marriage means to her. She said, “Im going to miss Masaba. Shell be married soon and its one of the happiest moments of my life but Im also sad that my daughter wont be living with me a few months from now. Its a dream for every mother to see her daughter married. And right now, Im living that dream.”

The speech received a thunderous applause from the guests, including Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, the Phantom boys (Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane), Alia Bhatt and boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra, Raveena Tandon, Shraddha Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Riteish Deshmukh with wife Genelia, Bosco of the Bosco-Caesar duo, Kangna Ranaut, Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem among others.
